Strategy Games / Staking Claims
Staking Claims is a digital version of an old school pen and paper strategy game called Boxes. Players take it in turns to draw lines onto a square grid; the idea being to complete squares to secure them. Enjoy the single player mode, or compete against friends in hotseat multiplayer with millions of randomly generated levels. Game controls: 1. Begin a new game. 2. The play area is made up of lines and vertices. 3. Click and drag between two adjacent vertices to draw a 'fence' between them. 4. Look for any opportunity to complete squares to 'own' them.
